Barracks Row Main Street hosted the highly anticipated Star Wars Weekend on 8th Street SE from May 2nd to May 4th, transforming the vibrant corridor into a galaxy far, far away. This year's event saw an incredible turnout, despite some unexpected challenges, and brought the community together in a celebration of the beloved sci-fi saga.

The weekend featured a series of engaging activities, live performances, and unique exhibits that delighted Star Wars fans of all ages. Among the most popular were:

• Star Wars Movie Screenings: The May 3rd & 4th screening May 4th screenings were sold out.

• The Galactic Empire Band: An unforgettable live performance.

• Villains Ball: A standout event with 4076 Instagram views and 128 likes, drawing fans from across the city.
