Improvements Underway at Eastern Market Metro Park!

Visitors to Eastern Market Metro Park may have noticed some exciting improvements underway!

The park is receiving a surface upgrade, with areas previously covered in crushed rock being replaced with new rubberized flooring, similar to the surface used in playgrounds.

This improvement will create a smoother, more comfortable surface for visitors while helping make the park easier to navigate and maintain throughout the year.

As construction continues, visitors may notice temporary fencing around portions of the park.

Barracks Row Main Street is excited to see these improvements taking shape! We look forward to welcoming residents, families, and visitors back to these refreshed spaces for our many community events and activities.

Stay tuned for more updates as work progresses!
