Friday April 7th was the opening season for the Live on the Hill Jazz Concert Series. It was a great event and wonderful beginining to the summer season. We invite the community to Join us at the Eastern Market Metro Park to enjoy live music in the park every Friday in April at 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm. Also, a first of 8th Street Barracks Row is Jazz, First Fridays on 8th Street Barracks Row. This is a monthly Live Music Series, from 5-9 pm taking place at various locations on 8th Street Barracks Row. Jazz, First Friday is a celebration of Live Music on 8th Street and the best part is that most music can be enjoyed for free. No cover charge, just authentic and entertaining live music to enjoy. Every first Friday night, explore 8th Street's live music venues, shops, restaurants, cultural venues and nightlife hot spots.
