About the event

Have you ever thought about volunteering in our community, but haven’t quite known where to start? Maybe you’re worried about how much time you can commit. Or maybe you just don’t have any idea what organizations are out there that need your help.

That’s where Volunteer Capitol Hill steps in. Let this volunteer fair be your guide to learning about opportunities with nearly 30 nonprofit organizations. You’ll have the chance to talk directly to representatives of organizations and find out what they do and what they’re looking for – quickly and all in one place!

Whether you’re looking to make a difference in the community, develop new job skills, make new friends, or spend time together as a family, there is an opportunity for everyone.

Join us Saturday, April 27 from 10 am-1 pm for this fun, free event. Blue Panamuse will be providing free outdoor music during Volunteer Capitol Hill as well.

Volunteer Capitol Hill is sponsored by Capitol Hill Community Foundation, Hill Center, Hill Rag, National Capital Bank and Pettie-Tubbs-Edwards Team at Coldwell Banker Realty.
