About the event
On Friday, May 24th at 5:30 pm, everyone is invited to Live on the Hill's celebration of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month is observed in the United States during May, and recognizes the contributions and influence of Asian Americans and Pacific Islander Americans to the history, culture, and achievements of the United States. We will be hosting the South Asian Performing Arts Network and Institute.
Join the South Asian Performing Arts Network and Institute or SAPAN for a dance class to learn easy and fun steps that you can use on the dance floor at the next Indian wedding that you attend this summer. We will be going through dance steps to popular songs that you will hear at any Indian wedding. No dance experience is needed, all levels and ages are welcome! Wear comfortable shoes and be prepared to dance!
