Experience: Live It Learn It -

Have you ever wanted to attend a Live It Learn It field experience? Here's your chance!

We're excited to offer you, your friends, and your family members an exclusive opportunity to be a part of a LILI field experience inspired by our student programming but updated for an adult audience.

• We'll kick things off at 4:30 PM in the Kogod Courtyard of the National Portrait Gallery (NPG) with a LILI pre-lesson that's sure to activate your mind and inspire curiosity. Enter the NPG from either the F or G Street entrances, and walk through to the Kogod Courtyard on the first floor. Look for the LILI team in black t-shirts with our 'reach for the stars' logo.
• Look. Think. Share. Pose. Come alongside our educators as they guide you through an exploration of portraiture and identity the LILI way!
• We'll close our time together at 799 9th St NW, a short walk from the NPG. You can create your own self-portrait while enjoying snacks and beverages. This event will end at approximately 6:30 PM.
• Know before you go: The museum will screen any bags you need to bring in, so allow time for this. There is a coat check available at both entrances, if needed. This experience will involve walking around the museum and a short walk from the museum to our closing destination. Please wear appropriate footwear and outerwear. Please bring your photo ID for entry into 799 9th St NW. Email development@liveitlearnit.org for accessibility needs by October 8.
