About the event
The Department of Employment Services (DOES) Office of Wage-Hour invites you to the Inaugural Wage-Theft Awareness Conference. This event will provide valuable information on the District’s wage law requirements, along with government resources and strategies to help businesses ensure compliance.
Companies will have the opportunity to learn from interagency partners about resources available to maintain compliance with wage laws. Workers will also gain knowledge about their wage rights and other workplace protections, empowering them to thrive in the workplace.
Wage Theft Training
Employers and employees can earn credit toward the wage theft training requirements under the Tipped Wage Workers Fairness Amendment Act, Section 6a (DC Code § 32–1306.01).
