Art All Night makes its debut to Barracks Row Main Street on Friday, September 23rd, 2022, from 6 PM - 11 PM!

Art All Night celebrates the performing and visual arts, showcasing the diverse talents of our city’s creative community. Barracks Row Main Street's Art All Night 2022 will be an evening filled with art, local music, and film experiences all along 8th Street SE on Capitol Hill and down to Capitol Riverfront.
The 2022 Art All Night Festival is funded by the DC Commission on Arts and Humanities and is made possible by the DC Department of Small and Local Business Development.
All Art All Night DC events on Barracks Row Main Street are free and open to the public, and no reservations or tickets are required.
Here are some of the participating sites that will be hosting performances. Stay tuned for the schedule!
  • Sole Wash - 427 8th St SE, Washington, DC
    • Air Force 1 Ice Sculpture by Hot Ice Inc.

  • The U.S. Navy Museum - 736 Sicard St SE, Washington, DC
    • ​The National Museum of the U.S. Navy collects, preserves, displays, and interprets historic naval artifacts and artwork to inform, educate, and inspire naval personnel and the general public. Known for 40 years as the flagship museum of the U.S. Navy, The National Museum of the U.S. Navy celebrates a legacy of educating the public. Today The National Museum of the U.S. Navy is the only naval museum to chronicle the history of the U.S. Navy from its creation to the present. 

  • Crazy Aunt Helen's - 5:00 pm - 10:00 pm 713 8th St SE, Washington, DC
    • Artist Happy Hour - 5p to 7p: Meet the artist Geancarlos Martinez also known as THERE Alone + from 5-7 pm. Artist  Geancarlos Martinez is a self taught Dominican muralist and abstract visual artist, based in Washington DC. Martinez is known for his renderings of natural imagery- silhouetted plant designs flow from his brush, uniquely stretching over surfaces.
    • Friday Night Trivia at 9p: Host Tara Hoot free to play snacks, drinks & fun

  • The Hill Center at the Old Naval Hospital 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm- 921 Pennsylvania Ave. SE, Washington, DC
    • Pop into Hill Center from 6:00-8:00 pm to view their newly installed: 2022 Fall Solo Exhibitions. Enjoy a complimentary glass of prosecco as you walk the halls of this historic building that will host exhibitions by 10 local artists. From colorful acrylic portraits to stunning photographs of our city, there's something for everyone to enjoy! Entrance is free and all art will be available for purchase. To learn more about the art, visit on/after September 14th. There will be full information about each artist and the option to view their work virtually.

  • DCanter A Wine Boutique: 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm - 545 8th St SE, Washington, DC
    • We'll host a walk-in wine tasting labels made by artists from 5:00 - 8:00 PM (featuring a collection of wines with artistic labels or wines known for their collaboration with artists). We'll also be showcasing artwork from some very talented CHAL artists! It will be a great opportunity for the Barracks Row community to come taste delicious wine and appreciate what our local artists are creating. There is a $5 tasting fee (per person) that can be applied towards any same-day wine purchase in the shop. As always, the tasting will be free for our Concierge clients (and one guest).

  • Emblem Plaza in Capitol Riverfront: 6:00 pm- 9:00 pm - 801 Virginia Avenue, SE
    • ​“Experience a night on Lower Barracks Row full of Art, Community, Performances, & Fun at the future Emblem Plaza featuring Crush Funk Brass Band, the Sharon Thomas Experience, Heru Peacock the Hip-Hop Violinist, hula artists, jugglers, light projections, murals, giveaways, and more.”

  • Honey Made: 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm - 727 8th St SE, Washington, DC 20003
    • ​Honey Made will have a sip, shop'n craft. We will have craft table for kids and drinks for adults when they shop.

  • Chat's on Capitol Hill: 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm - 503 8th St SE, Washington, DC 20003
