Arts & Crafts Subcommittee

The mission of the Barracks Row Arts & Crafts Subcommittee is to promote the arts along 8^th Street to create an environment conducive to more art galleries, antiques dealers, design stores, and house wares.

The Arts & Crafts Subcommittee has:

· Attracted over 20 artists to our street festival

· Organized two art walks enlivening empty windows along Barracks Row

· Became a prime destination for Second Saturday, a monthly arts promotion on Capitol Hill

· Encouraged working artists to move into carriage houses flanking 8^th Street, SE
