For the past decade, Barracks Row Main Street has worked tirelessly to preserve and enhance Capitol Hill’s historic 8th Street, SE, commercial corridor and to revitalize its business community.
The group’s focus is the five blocks of 8th Street that stretch south from Pennsylvania Ave S.E. to the terminus of 8th Street at the Washington Navy Yard along M Street, S.E.
Barracks Row is located eight blocks east of the U.S. Capitol.

The map of participating restaurants, and the menu of what they will be offering, is finally complete! Feel free to print your own if you want to get a jump on things, but we'll have some printed and ready for you (including some large-print editions!) at Taste Headquarters at 8th and G Streets SE in front of Spring Mill Bread.
The event runs from 1:00-4:00pm, and we'll start releasing will-call tickets at Taste Headquarters for people who bought online in advance at 12:45. Day-of ticket sales (cash or credit accepted) begin at 1:00pm. Come a few minutes after 1:00 to skip some of the crowds! Online ticket pre-sales are available until around noon today at www.barracksrow.org/tasteof8th. After that, we still have a limited number of day-of tickets available for purchase!
See you at the Taste later today!
