2014 Taste of 8th is here! The 2014 Taste will be held on Saturday, May 3rd from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. Our very own Barracks Row Restaurants will serve samples of their best-known or newest dishes.

Sample up to twenty of our finest dining options. Tickets are $5.00 for a single tasting, equivalent to a tapas or small plate portion, or five tickets for $20.00 (90% of people buy the five ticket package per person so they can sample the most restaurants). Ticket sales benefit Barracks Row Main Street's year-round work to maintain a clean, safe and beautiful community for residents and businesses.

Tickets purchased online will be held at will-call at 8th & G Streets, SE.
You will not receive tickets in advance.
Will-call will open from 12:55 PM to 3 PM on Saturday, May 3rd.

Your support directly improves the neighborhood!
Funds directly support Barracks Row Main Street, a nonprofit organization bringing to the community:

• New restaurants and shops – Economic development efforts to bring new businesses to Barracks Row, and monitoring “quality of life” issues such as parking and noise.
• A better community – Working to retain property values and improve “livability” by balancing retail, development, and
residential needs.
• Clean streets – Significant support of the “men in blue” or the Business Improvement District (BID) Clean Litter Team.
• Beautiful streets – Planting trees, bulbs, improving or restoring facades and creating murals.
• Safe streets – Improving lighting, increasing walk-through traffic resulting from added restaurants, retail and other businesses.
• Historic preservation – Murals, facades and other historic treasures in 8th Street buildings.

Please note: Physical tickets to the Garden Party will not be mailed. Your name will be included on the guest list at the door the day of the event.
